Takedown Policy (DMCA)
Last updated: July 2026
RetroHub is a frontend that loads emulator content hosted by third parties (such as Archive.org). We respect intellectual property rights and respond promptly to valid removal requests. If you are a rights holder — or act on their behalf — and believe content available through RetroHub infringes your copyright, you can request its removal following the procedure below.
1. How to submit a takedown notice
Send an email to hola@retrohub.live with the subject line “DMCA / Takedown”. We aim to review every valid request and act within 72 hours.
2. What your notice must include
To let us act quickly and accurately, your notice should contain:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (title, publisher, platform).
- The exact URL(s) on RetroHub where the content appears, so we can locate it.
- Your contact details (name, organization if any, and email).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act on their behalf.
- Your electronic or physical signature.
3. What happens next
Once we receive a valid notice, we will remove or disable access to the identified content from RetroHub as quickly as reasonably possible and, where relevant, forward the request to the third-party host. We may keep a record of takedown requests. Submitting knowingly false claims may carry legal liability under applicable law.
4. Counter-notice
If you believe content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to hola@retrohub.live explaining the reasons, together with your contact details and signature.
